Philipp and his Smoke Angel

For the “Smoke Detectors Save Lives” campaign, we created the children’s story booklet Philipp und sein Rauchengel (Philipp and his Smoke Detector Angels), illustrated by Judith Drews. The objective was to create educational material to teach fire prevention and safety in kindergartens, but the invaluable bonus of this medium was that children took the story booklet home with them and asked their parents to read it to them again, solidifying the book’s message in the home.
The success of the booklet was boosted by its dissemination and resonance across the eobiont network. Insurance firms, service providers, and health insurance companies all recognized the potential of the booklet and had additional copies printed using their own logo. “Philipp und sein Rauchengel” was widely distributed by the companies’ field work branches and fire departments’ prevention initiatives. The total circulation thus far: half a million copies.
