Our first, and most successful, campaign: “Smoke Detectors Save Lives.” A one-stop, integrated marketing campaign started in 2000, the educational campaign brings together everything both client and agency could want: close attention to detail, high-circulation press coverage in all forms of media, a double-digit increase in sales, success in the political arena, a high level of support from opinion leaders and consumers, and a well-developed network. Our greatest success: Nine out of 16 German states introduced legislation making smoke alarms compulsory, and additional states are on the brink of doing the same. A state of affairs hardly anyone would have dared to hope for 10 years ago.
